Both DEWA & FEWA in their constant goal to better simplify your payment experience process, will have their usual maintenance update for their facilities, due to which the utility payment service will be temporarily unavailable via our Digital Banking and IVR platforms.

DEWA: Sunday 18th December, 2022 from 12:00am to 4:00am.
FEWA: Friday 16th December, 2022 from 03:00pm to 11:00pm, and on Saturday 17th December, 2022 from 07:00pm to Sunday 18th December, 2022 03:00am.

Important information on upcoming public holidays

Thank you for banking with RAKBANK.
On the occasion of this great country’s 51st National Day, may the spirit of freedom lead us all to success and glory in life.
To honor this auspicious event, the Central Bank of UAE has declared this occasion as a holiday for all UAE banks and financial institutions. Hence, kindly be advised that the following services will not be available beginning from the 1st of December 2022 till the 3rd of December 2022.
- Cheque Clearing (ICCS)
- Payment via Direct Debit System (DDS)
- AED & Non AED Fund Transfer services via Digital Banking
These services will resume on the 5th of December 2022 as per RAKBANK’s working hours.
Please note that Instant Payment Transfers (IPI), RAKMoneyTransfer requests, and cash deposits will not be impacted during the holiday, with the funds being credited to your account(s)/beneficiary account(s) immediately.
If your Loan/Finance payment due date falls during the holiday period, kindly ensure that sufficient funds are available on your payment due date so we can recover the Loan/Finance installment on the first business day after the holiday (i.e. 5th December 2022), and to avoid any late payment fees/charges.
If your Card(s) payment due date falls during the holiday, please ensure that payments are made on or before the due date to avoid any late payment fees/charges.

IPI Service Downtime - 24 November 2022

Please note that UAE Central Bank will be having a maintenance activity for the Instant Payment services (IPI) on Thursday 24th November, 2022 from 1:00am to 1:00pm. Hence all Instant Payment services (IPI) on Digital Banking will be routed through regular fund transfer service (FTS) which may take up to 12 hours to process.
However, if you are expecting any Instant Payment during the effected time, please note that the same will be processed after the mentioned period above.

Our systems are now up and running and you can now use our services within these channels; however, please note that Instant Payments initiated will take up to 1 day to be processed.
