In view of the Eid Holidays announced by the Central Bank of UAE, and as per our monthly reconciliation system activity during this holiday, please note the following:
- Any deposits to your RAKBANK account through ATM/EDM, Digital Banking, and Central Bank Payment & Settlement System (CBWSI) on Friday 8th July 2022 after 12:00 am will be available for use on 8th July, 2022 by 4:00 am
- Deposits during the Eid holiday from 8th to 11th July 2022, will be processed immediately as normal.
- Cheque Clearing (ICCS) & payment via Direct Debit System (DDS) from 8th to 11th July 2022, will be cleared/settled on 12th July, 2022.
- If your loan/finance due date falls during the holiday period, kindly ensure sufficient funds are available on your payment due date so we can recover the loan/finance instalment on the first business day after the holiday, and to avoid any late payment fees/ charges.
- If your cards due date falls during the holiday, please ensure that payments are made on due date to avoid any late payment fees/ charges.

Change in Commodities Price effective 16th August 2022

Please note that with effect from 16th August 2022, the commodity price for Salam based contracts will increase by 1%.
Your appointed agent shall take delivery of the commodities and deliver the same to the Bank as per revised Delivery Schedule that will be shared with you before 16th September 2022.

SME Prime Rate Change effective 1st August 2022

Effective 1st August 2022, on account of recent increase in EIBOR rates, the following revision will be in place:
The SME Prime Rate will be increased by 0.50 basis points from 14.50% p.a. to 15.00% p.a.

Revised cut off timings for EFT via Digital Banking

Dear Customer,
Thank you for banking with RAKBANK.
We are pleased to inform you that the cut of timings for acceptance of Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) for Dirham (AED) payments via Digital Banking has been revised from 5:00pm to 7:00pm effective 1st June 2022. EFTs with other currencies remain unchanged with cut off timings 4:00pm.
EFT forms for all currencies through the branches will continue to be accepted till 3:00pm for same day processing. The forms are available here on our website.

Branch operations during National Mourning

In reference to the recent announcement issued by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs at UAE, RAKBANK mourns the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

Deposits for RAKBANK Accounts during Eid Holiday

Revised business hours for our Mall branches

We write with reference to our earlier communication dated 30th December 2021, wherein we advised you of the revised working week effective 2nd January 2022 as per the announcement of the UAE Government.
As part of our efforts to further enhance your banking experience, we have revised the business hours for our Mall branches (Dragon Mart Branch, IBN Battuta Branch and Motor City -E-banking unit) effective 1st March 2022, as detailed below for your reference.
