RAKBANK brings to you Home Comfort* provided by AXA Insurance (Gulf) BSC (c); offering a wide range of protection features. With your Home Comfort insurance cover, you can enjoy the following protection features

• Cover for your home contents in case of Accidental Loss or Damage due to natural calamities or any unforeseen events
• Loss of personal belongings and valuables is covered worldwide while travelling for up to 90 days
• Coverage for your domestic helpers, we will protect you in case you wish to insure your domestic helper(s) who sustains accidental bodily injury which results in death or permanent total disablement, including cover for medical expenses as well as repatriation expenses
• While relocating within the UAE, your household contents will be covered against any damage
• Your household contents are covered even when you are on holiday up to 60 consecutive days
• Your important documents like passport, labor card, driving license, etc are covered against any loss or damage

I. Contents

• Contents in your home are covered up to Sum Insured
• Contents temporarily removed are covered up to 20% of contents of Sum Insured
• Contents in the open are covered up to AED 2,500
• Theft of keys is covered up to AED 1,000
• Spoilage of food in the deep freezer is covered up to AED 2,500
• Loss of rent or cost of alternate accommodation is covered up to 20% of the Sum Insured
• Household Removals are covered up to the Sum Insured
• Fatal injury benefits are covered up to AED 50,000
• Visitors personal effects are covered up to AED 2,500
• Occupiers personal and employers liability is covered up to AED 2,000,000
• Tenants Liability is covered up to AED 100,000

II. Accidental Damage to contents

• Accidental damages to Contents are covered up to the Sum Insured

III. Personal Belongings

• Personal belongings, Valuables and Portable Equipment are covered up to Sum Insured
• Personal Money and credit cards are covered up to AED 2,500
• Important Documents are covered up to AED 3,000

IV. Buildings

• Fire and Allied Perils is covered up to the Sum Insured
• Loss of rent or cost of alternative accommodation is covered up to 20% of the Sum Insured
• Damage to service is covered up to 10% of the Sum Insured
• Breakage of fixed glass and sanitary fixtures is covered up to the Sum Insured
• Owner’s liability to the public is covered up to AED 2,000,000

V. Accident Damage to Buildings

• Accidental damages to building are covered up to Sum Insured

VI. Cover for Domestic Helpers

• Death or Permanent Total Disablement cover for AED 30,000
• Medical Expenses are covered up to AED 10,000
• Repatriation Expenses cover for AED 5,000

• If you are an owner not living in the property you can opt for the ‘Buildings only’ Cover
• If you are an owner living in the property, you can opt for the ‘Buildings only’ Cover
