1. What is an Easy Payment Plan (EPP)
Easy Payment Plan (EPP) is an offering to you to conveniently convert your high value purchases at participating merchants* into 0% interest EMI. The 0% interest EPP is offered for 3, 6, 9 & 12 months tenors.
2. How can I request for the EPP?
Upon completing the purchase at any of the participating merchant outlets, you can call the Bank’s 24 x 7 Phone Banking service on 04 213 00 00 within 10 days to convert the transaction to a 0% interest EPP.
3. What is the minimum purchase value to avail the EPP?
The minimum purchase value vaires from each participating merchant listed on the "0% Easy Payment Plan" page. This transaction should be performed at a participating merchant outlet, in order to be converted to a 0% EPP.
4. How will the EPP show on my Credit Card statement?
The EPP will be shown in a separate box in the body of the statement under the heading Installment Summary. It will show the original amount, tenor of EPP, outstanding amount and remaining installment period.
5. Will I be notified upon conversion of transaction to EPP?
Yes. You will be notified by way of SMS confirming that the transaction is converted to 0% EPP. You will also be able to check the EPP details on the monthly Credit Card statement.
6. Can I change the tenor or the EPP?
No. The tenor of the EPP cannot be changed.
7. Can I avail more than one EPP without settling the existing EPP?
Yes. You can avail multiple EPPs. Every time you do a high value purchase from any of the participating merchants, you can call the bank to convert the transaction to a 0% EPP.
8. What will happen if I do not pay the EMI amount in a particular month?
The unpaid EMI amount will attract finance charges. Please click here to view the charges.
9. Can I early settle the EPP?
You can pre-close the EPP by making a payment and contacting the bank to give the request for early closure of the EPP. Preclosure of EPP will be treated as cancellation and the relevant charges as per the service & price guide will be applicable. Click here to view the service and price guide.
